Well I probably put too many images into this post, but I promise the pictures are worth looking at until the end. But this is not only one of my favorite sessions because this beautiful family was so laid back and easy to work with but also because it screams lazy summer days to me. And right now that is exactly what I need, don’t get me wrong winter has a special place in my heart too but I’m a summer girl through and through. When I look at these images I’m reminded of my own childhood; long, hot summer days with nothing to do except explore the back woods and lay in our pasture to watch the clouds slowly roll by.

Today I encourage you to take a moment and think about the simplicity of your childhood days because being an adult is hard work.
